Softball Friendly Australia Chosen Host For 2032 Olympic Games
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced Brisbane, Australia as the host for the 2032 Summer Olympics. Australia first hosted the Summer Olympics in Melbourne in 1956, and then in Sydney in 2000. The move could bode well for the sport of softball being included on the Olympic Program with it being so popular and well-played in Australia. Softball won’t appear as an Olympic Sport at the 2024 Games in Paris, France. However, with the Olympics being hosted in the United States by the City of Los Angeles in 2028 and now Brisbane in 2032, it could be a good possibility that softball would be included for two Olympic Cycles.
