Off to an NCAA Record 36-0 start, Oklahoma keeps rolling as the No. 1 team in the country in this week’s USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll. Virginia Tech (29-5) moves up to No. 2 after a strong road trip through Florida last week against Top 25 competition. The top four are rounded out by Alabama (33-5), Florida State (37-4), and UCLA (32-5).

Oklahoma City Returns To Top Spot In NAIA Poll

The latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll has a traditional power back atop it. Oklahoma City (25-2) took over the top spot with six first-place votes to bump previous No. 1 Oregon Tech (33-6) to second as the Owls garnered five first-place votes. Undefeated Mobile (32-0) is gaining steam coming in at No. 3 with eight first-place votes.

Veteran Coach Yegge Collects 700th Win

Missouri Western State Coach Joe Yegge collected his 700th career coaching win on Saturday in a 2-1 victory over Emporia State as part of a doubleheader sweep. Yegge is in his first season coaching the Griffins. He has also served as head coach at Kirkwood Community College and Cedar Rapids Prairie High School during his long and distinguished career.

RTS To Be In Orlando for Hokies/Knights

RTS will be in Orlando tomorrow for the start of the three-game series between No. 5 Virginia Tech (25-3) and No. 22 Central Florida (29-8). Game 1 & 2 will be at 2 pm and 4 pm Sunday, while the series will finish Monday evening with Game 3 at 6 pm.
