Stephen F. Austin has named Jeff Jackson their new head coach. Jackson comes to Nacogdoches after leading the program at Odessa College the past six seasons. In 2023 he led the Wrangers to a 54-6 record and an appearance in the NJCAA DI Softball World Series Semifinals for the second season in a row.
Judge Names Utah State Coach
Todd Judge has been named the new head coach at Utah State. Judge joins the Aggies after spending the last two season on the coaching staff at Brigham Young. While at BYU, Judge helped coach the Cougars to a 77-27 record. He has over 25 years of coaching experience on the softball and baseball levels.
Consaul To Lead Army Permanently
Jen Consaul has been appointed the permanent head coach at Army. Consaul served the 2023 season as interim head coach and led West Point to a 22-37 record going 10-8 in the Patriot League. She had originally joined the USMA Staff in 2019 as an assistant coach.
Leftwich Named Head Coach At NCSU
Lindsay Leftwich has been named the new head coach at North Carolina State. Leftwich spent the past 12 seasons as an assistant coach at LSU. She helped the Tigers to four WCWS appearances in 2012, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Leftwich’s first head coaching position with the Wolfpack, she also had stops on staff at Florida International, New Mexico, Wichita State, and Northwestern State.

FSW Wins Third Straight National Title
It’s a three-peat for Florida Southwestern.
The Buccaneers won their third NJCAA DI Championship on Saturday in a 10-6 victory over Northwest Florida State. FSW becomes the first team in 30 years to win back-to-back-to-back titles.

CSU Bakersfield Looking For New Leadership
RTS has learned that Cal State Bakersfield has moved on from Head Coach Dan Sperl after one season. CSUB hired Sperl last year after he worked in the Athletic Media Relations Office for the institute. Sperl went 7-43 and 2-25 in Big West Play in 2023.
National Champs Concordia Ann Arbor N0. 1
After securing the program’s third National Championship last week, Concordia Ann Arbor finished No. 1 in the final National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Coaches Poll. The Cardinals defeated Trinity Christian 8-1 in the championship final in Kansas City.

Providence Parts Ways With Karwoski
Providence and Head Coach Jill Karwoski have parted ways. Karwoski spent five seasons leading the Friars. She compiled a record of 81-102-1 and 32-53-1 in the Big East Conference while leading PC.
