The Pac-12 announced today it will start hosting a conference championship tournament beginning with the 2023 season. The four-day single-elimination tournament will begin with a play-in game between the eighth and ninth-place teams, with the winner advancing to the quarterfinals. The winner of the Pac-12 Softball Championship will receive the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
