Legendary UAH Coach Stuedeman Retires

University of Alabama-Huntsville head coach Les Stuedeman is retiring. The Hall of Fame Coach spent 30 seasons leading the Chargers. During that time she compiled a record of 1,297-453-1 while winning 14 conference championships. Her programs appeared in the NCAA Postseason 26 times finishing the 2009 and 2011 seasons as National Runner-up.

Program alum Melanie Carter has been promoted to succeed Stuedeman as head coach. She has served on staff the last 14 seasons at UAH as an assistant coach and associate head coach.
