Langston University has announced it has renamed their annual Red Dirt Classic in honor of their late coach Hosea Bell. The event, held at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City, will be held March 3-5. A longtime popular coach with his athletes and nationally in the profession, Bell spent eight seasons leading NAIA Langston. He passed unexpectedly last September due to complications from surgery.
