Freshman Allyse Leija hit a walk-off solo shot in the bottom of the 7th to punch Dallas Christian College’s ticket to their first National Christian College Athletic Association World Series on Saturday. DCC downed Arlington Baptist University 8-7 in a deciding Game 2 of the regional tournament in Plano, TX. ABU had forced an “if” game earlier in the day defeating the Crusaders 14-3.
