Kimberly Stiles has been named the new head coach at Maine. Stiles joins the Black Bears after leading the program at Holy Cross. In three seasons she led the Crusaders to 50 wins. She also had head coaching stops at the DII level with Charleston and Davis & Elkins.

EIU Hires Alum To Lead Program
Eastern Illinois has named Kristi Paulson their new head coach. The EIU Alum returns home after leading the program at Parkland College, and had recently taken the reins at Lake Land College this summer. At Parkland she tallied 200 wins while leading the program to three NJCAA World Series appearances in the last four seasons.
Gleason Named NIU Head Coach
Kathryn Gleason has been named the new head coach at Northern Illinois. The veteran coach and political pundit joins the Huskies after nine seasons at Northern Kentucky. She amassed 173 victories and a conference championship while reaching the NCAA Postseason in 2023 leading the Norse.
Schillings Resigns at NSU To Join NDSU
Ashley Schilling has resigned from her position as head coach at Northern State to join the coaching staff at North Dakota State as an assistant. In her three seasons with the Wolves, Schilling compiled a 51-96 record while going 23-61 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play.
Ford Retires At CSUF
Kelly Ford is calling it a coaching career. Cal State Fullerton announced today Ford is retiring. In 12 seasons leading the Titans, she amassed 410 wins while winning six Big West Championships and appearing in the NCAA Postseason seven times.
One of the most knowledgeable and well liked coaches in the profession, Ford amassed 865 total wins as a head coach in her career. Before coming to Fullerton she led CalJC Powerhouse Mt. San Antonio College.
Montana Reached Into DII Success For New Head Coach
Montana has named Stef Ewing their new head coach. Ewing has spent the past six seasons building a DII contender at Cal State San Marcos. In her final three seasons the Cougars advanced to the NCAA Postseason, including a World Series in 2023.
Archibald Resigns At EIU To Join Staff At TTU
As expected Eastern Illinois Head Coach Tara Archibald has stepped down and will join her father Gerry Glasco’s staff at Texas Tech. Archibald spent five seasons with the Panthers where she won two OVC Championships. The 2023 Tournament Title resulted in a trip to the NCAA Postseason for EIU.
Oakland Names Stelma Head Coach
Oakland has named Chris Stelma to lead their program. Stelma joins the Golden Grizzlies after spending the past eight years as head coach at Saint Peter’s. The 2022 MAAC Coach of the Year led the Peacocks to a three-season stretch from 2022 to 2024 where they won 68 games, the most over a three-year span for the program since 2003.
The Cradle Of Coaches Goes With Gardner-Colegate
Miami (OH) has named Mandy Gardner-Colegate their new head coach. Gardner-Colegate joins the Redhawks after spending the past two seasons as the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Iowa. The Big 10 playing product also had coaching stops at UC San Diego and Grand Canyon.
Ole Miss All-Star Staff Build Continues With Evans
Ole Miss continues to construct an all-star coaching staff, this time adding a six-time National Champion.
The Rebels have hired former Arizona Wildcat Great Nancy Evans as pitching coach. Evans won three national titles as a player and then three more as a coach in Tucson. She spent last season leading the pitching staff at University of Illinois Chicago. She also worked in the same role at DePaul from 2011-2013. Between she has been instrumental in developing the international game in countries like Italy and The Netherlands.
