Carosone could be a perfect fit with the push and backing of many power players in the softball community. With the change in leadership at Auburn, and App State’s commitment to take their program to a championship level according to their administration, Carosone checks a lot of boxes.

Novak Resigns At Dallas

Christian Novak has resigned as head coach at the University of Dallas to pursue a career in the corporate world she announced on Social Media. Novak spent three seasons leading the Crusaders and compiled a 16-81 record.

Adix-Zins Out At DePaul

Tracie Adix-Zins has been relieved of her duties as head coach at DePaul. The program alum coached the Blue Demons for six seasons going 125-133. The program went 9-38 this season.

ACU Changes Leadership

Abilene Christian has announced a change in leadership. Abigail Farler is out as head coach after five seasons. ACU was 16-32 in 2024. She posted an overall record of 78-144 leading the Wildcats.

Georgia State Parts Ways With Nicholson

RTS has learned from sources close to the program that head coach Angie Nicholson and Georgia State have parted ways. Nicholson led the Panthers for three seasons going 50-111 and 17-55 in Sun Belt Conference play.

White Resigns At Hampton

Monique White has resigned as head coach at Hampton University. White led the Pirates for three seasons going 51-102. HU went 17-35 overall and 7-20 in CAA play in 2024.

Hoerner Out At App State

Shelly Hoerner is out as head coach at Appalachian State the institute has announced. Hoerner coached the Mountaineers for seven seasons compiling a record of 161-172 while going 44-100 in Sun Belt Conference play.

RTS Heads To SEC Tournament To Start Postseason Coverage

The postseason is upon us and Rounding Third Softball Coverage powered by Dobbins Softball Consulting & Development starts this week as we head to The Plains of Auburn, AL for the SEC Tournament. Action gets started tomorrow night at 6 pm CST as the No. 12 and 13 seeds Kentucky (30-21, 8-16) and Ole Miss (30-24, 7-17) matchup. Kolze Retires At Pacific

For the first time in 32 year the University of the Pacific will have a new leader.

Head Coach Brian Kolze has announced his retirement. Kolze led the Tigers to an 824-797-2 overall record. He guided the program to eight NCAA tournament appearances and a Big West Championship title in 2011, while producing 10 All-Americans during his tenure.
