New Mexico Highlands University has named Marc Benjamin their new head coach. Benjamin spent the past four seasons at Oklahoma Panhandle State where he turned the fortunes of the program. In 2022 he led OPSU to an overall record of 35-14 and a 22-8 mark in conference play. He was recognized as the Sooner Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2021. Benjamin has also had coaching stops at Barton Community College, Northwest Kansas Tech, Campbell, and Southern Utah.
